Turnkey Solution for Visual Displays

While collaboration is a popular buzzword in corporate sector it is equally if not more prevalent and necessary in education. This was certainly the case at Glacier Middle School where we installed full wall PBS Dry Erase Writable + Magnetic Wallcovering (PBS DEWC) to allow for more students to collaborate in the classroom than a standard 4’ high board would allow. Along with the writable wallcovering PBS provided traditional Claridge porcelain steel markerboards, Claridge sliding markerboards, glass markerboards, Forbo tackable wallcovering, and Da Lite projections screens to provide our GC partner with a one-stop shop for visual display solutions.

Quantity AND Quality

With every classroom receiving a full wall application of PBS DEWC and Forbo Bulletin Board Cork at 8’ high and over 20’ wide, we installed over a mile of product on this project! However the quantity of product did not impact the quality of our installation, with each room being meticulously measured and cut to provide a clean collaborative classroom. The commons area projection screen presented a unique challenge as the screen need to be lifted 20’ into the air above an elevated platform which was not easily accessible, our team proved up to the challenge using a combination of manual and powered lifts to successfully install the screen into the recessed pocket above. With the school just down the road from our Kent facility it was particularly rewarding to complete such an ambitious project in our own backyard.
